משקה הוא פחות או יותר 8 פאונד.
Meeting up with the Israeli hammers on Thursday for the game.
On the plane over there were a couple of…… you knows wearing yarmulkes. One was in the design of Pringles and the other had a Tottenham one.
Mr Pringle told me the Villa result.

You should have a great time. If you're with locals, ask them to take you to an arab village near Bethlehem for lunch. They love the British and the food is always excellent (and very cheap)

No locals just us and a hire car.
Any idea of the name of the village?
According to google maps there is a KFC almost next door to the church of the nativity.
Won’t be going in there.
Nurse, not got it so far 🤞but Will only test if I feel ill.

I'm fucked if I can remember the name of the village, my wife took me about 16 years ago. We always used the eateries in the arab villages, Bethlehem is Arab country so just ask a local for a recommendation outside Bethlehem. To be honest, the locals will appreciate your interest (and your business). If you don't have an Israeli with you, pretty much every Arab village is safe (look for road signs with 'Beit' or 'qry' in the title) for Brits.
Galilee is spectacular btw, if you get a chance to go up into the Golan Heights, do it, great time of the year to get up there (wet, misty and humid). Do what all Israelis do and blare out Dire STraits 'Brothers in Arms' when you get up there. You can even do a raft trip down the Jordan as well. Good fun.

The heights is close to the Sea of Galilee so yea that’s doable. It’s a couple of hours drive from here once you clear the traffic

You can also hit Acre (crusader fort city on the med), Haifa (fantastic city with loads to do) or go up to Rosh Hanikra, right on the border with Lebanon where there are superb cliffs, caves and turquoise water right on the UN demarcation line.

When you go to the Dead Sea, there are a lot of very expensive hotels and resorts, but there is also a lovely little town called Ein Gedi (Eye of the Goat) with a brilliant Youth Hostel with nearby bar, shops etc. Just down the road is Masada (a must for any Dead Sea visit)
Across the road from Ein Gedi (past the army checkpoint) is a dirt trail that leads to loads of natural hot springs that are free to use, just follow the smell.....

Tel Aviv is ridiculously expensive and I think it got voted one of the most expensive cities to live in. Despite that, it is one of my favourite cities I have been to.
You can find a few hidden gems to eat, mostly falafel and schnitzel stall type places. Can't remember their names but they were around Ben Yehuda / Dizengoff Street.
If you fancy going to a nicer place which is reasonable then try 'old man and the sea' in Jaffa. Loads of fish and unlimited side dishes - very nice and a nice setting if you're sitting outside. Jaffa is nice to walk around as well if you got time to kill.
The quality of women in Tel Aviv is up there with the best I have seen.
Enjoy
